Reviewing and Approving Fundraiser Requests
When an organiser wants to run a fundraiser using one of your catalogues, they submit a request for your approval. This guide explains how to review, approve, decline, or request changes to incoming fundraiser requests.
Finding Requests
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Click Manage Requests in the navigation menu.
- Pending requests are listed under the Fundraiser Requests section.
Each request shows the organiser's details, the catalogue they've selected, their proposed campaign dates, and delivery information.
Reviewing a Request
Click Manage next to a request to see the full details, including:
- Organiser information — Name, contact email, phone number, and organisation details
- Catalogue — Which of your catalogues they want to use
- Proposed end date — When the organiser wants the campaign to close
- Fulfilment method — Whether orders will be delivered or collected
- Delivery address — Where you'll need to send the orders (for delivery fundraisers)
Approving a Request
To approve a fundraiser request:
- Click Manage next to the request.
- Review the proposed details.
- Adjust any settings if needed:
- End date — You can modify the proposed end date
- Delivery date — Set when you'll deliver the orders (for delivery fundraisers)
- Fulfilment method — Change between delivery and collection if needed
- Delivery address — Update the delivery address if required
- Product quantities — Adjust stock limits for specific products
- Click Approve to confirm.
The organiser will be notified that their fundraiser has been approved, and the campaign will go live on the approved start date.
Requesting Changes
If the request is mostly fine but needs some adjustments, you can request changes instead of declining:
- Click Manage next to the request.
- Click Request Changes.
- Select the reason for the change request:
- Address is invalid or not suitable
- Residential address supplied but business/school address needed
- Requested date is not available
- Delivery method not available for this area
- Contact details need verification
- Other
- Add a message explaining what the organiser needs to update.
- Click Submit.
The organiser will receive a notification with your feedback and can resubmit an updated request.
Declining a Request
To decline a fundraiser request:
- Click Manage next to the request.
- Click Decline.
- Select a reason for declining:
- End date not available
- Product not available
- Organisation unsuitable for fundraising
- Delivery address constraints
- Other
- Optionally add a message to the organiser.
- Click Confirm.
The organiser will be notified that their request was declined, along with your reason.
Tip: Whenever possible, use Request Changes rather than declining outright. This gives the organiser a chance to fix any issues without starting over.
