Inviting Organisations to Fundraise
You can proactively invite organisations and individuals to run fundraisers using your catalogues. Invited recipients receive an email with your catalogue details and a link to get started — and their fundraiser request is automatically pre-approved, skipping the usual approval step.
Sending Invitations
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Click Manage Requests in the navigation menu.
- Click Invite Fundraiser.
- Select the catalogue you want to invite organisations to fundraise with.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you'd like to invite. You can add multiple emails at once.
- Click Send Invitations.
Each recipient will receive an email with your catalogue details, including any brochure PDF, and a link to create their fundraiser.
What Happens When Someone Accepts
When an invited person clicks through and creates a fundraiser:
- Their request is automatically pre-approved — they don't need to wait for you to manually approve it
- The fundraiser is created using the catalogue you selected in the invitation
- You'll still be notified about the new fundraiser and can manage it as usual
Things to Know
- Duplicate emails — If you enter an email address that has already been invited to the same catalogue, it will be skipped to avoid sending duplicate invitations.
- Unsubscribed contacts — Recipients who have previously unsubscribed from Raised invitation emails will not receive the invitation.
- Recently invited — If someone was invited within the last 60 days, the system will skip them to prevent excessive emails.
- No account required — The recipient doesn't need an existing Raised account. They can create one as part of accepting the invitation.
- Invitation expiry — Invitations expire after 60 days. Recipients will receive a reminder email before the invitation expires.
Tip: Invitations are a great way to grow your fundraiser network. Consider reaching out to schools, sports clubs, and community organisations in your area.
