Managing Fundraiser Change Requests

When a fundraiser organiser wants to change the end date or delivery address of a running fundraiser, they submit a change request for you to review. This guide explains how to find and manage these requests.

How You'll Be Notified

When an organiser submits a change request, you'll receive:

  • An email titled "Fundraiser Change Request" with the campaign name and details of the requested change
  • An in-app notification in your Raised dashboard
  • A push notification if you have the Raised app installed

Finding Change Requests

All pending change requests appear on your Requests page:

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Click Requests in the navigation menu.
  3. Pending change requests are displayed in the Campaign Change Requests section at the top of the page.

The table shows:

  • Campaign Name — The name of the fundraiser as set by the organiser
  • Organisation — The organisation or individual that created the fundraiser
  • Request Type — Whether the change is to the end date, delivery address, or both
  • Current Value — The current end date and/or delivery address
  • Requested Value — What the organiser is requesting

I Can't Find the Fundraiser

The change request email displays the campaign name set by the organiser (e.g., "Help fund Gemma and Georgia to WTC in France"). This may not match any name you recognise, as organisers choose their own campaign names.

To locate the request:

  1. Go to your Requests page — change requests appear here, not in your main fundraiser list.
  2. Look for the organisation name rather than the campaign name.
  3. If you still can't find it, the request may have already been actioned or the fundraiser may have been cancelled.

Approving or Declining a Change

To approve:

  1. Click Manage next to the change request.
  2. Review the requested changes.
  3. Toggle the checkboxes to approve specific changes (e.g., approve the end date but not the address).
  4. If approving an end date change on a delivery fundraiser, you'll need to set the new delivery date.
  5. Click Approve to confirm.

To decline:

  1. Click Reject next to the change request.
  2. Optionally provide a reason for declining.
  3. Click Confirm to submit.

The organiser will be notified of your decision via email and in-app notification.
