Sharing Your Fundraiser Link
Your link
Every fundraiser has its own address in the form raised.nz/f/your-campaign-name, or raised.au for Australian campaigns. You will find it in your dashboard once your campaign is created.
Your campaign has to be live before the link will work for supporters. See Getting Approved to Go Live.
Changing your link
If the automatically generated link is long or awkward, we can shorten it or change the wording for you. Contact us with your campaign and the link you would like, and we will update it. Existing links stop working once it changes, so do this before you start sharing.
Facebook says the link may not be safe
If you share your link on Facebook and people see a warning that the link may not be safe, nothing is wrong with your page and nothing has been hacked.
Facebook shows this generic warning for pages it has not seen much traffic to yet. New fundraisers get it routinely. It is safe to tap "Follow link", and the warning goes away on its own once your page has had a bit of traffic.
It does put people off, so it is worth adding a line to your post saying the link is safe and to continue through the warning.
If you see any other warning, or the warning names something specific, send us a screenshot and we will look into it.
Social media images
Your dashboard's marketing tools can generate images sized for social posts, along with posters and other printable material. See Generating Posters and Packing Slips.
If an image will not generate or download, let us know which campaign and we will investigate.
Putting it on your own website
You can embed a donation form directly in your site rather than linking out. See Embedding a Donation Form on Your Website.
