Sharing your fundraising page
If you have joined a fundraiser as a member, you have your own fundraising page. Everything you raise from your page is credited to you, so the more you share it, the more you raise. This guide walks you through logging in, setting up your page, and sharing it.
Organisers: send this article to your members after you add them.
Logging in
When you join a fundraiser, or when a team owner approves your request, you get a welcome email with a magic link. Click the link to open your dashboard. There is no password to remember. The reminder emails you receive during the campaign also link straight to your dashboard, so you can always get back in from your inbox.
After you log in, choose the team or fundraiser you are raising for.
Setting up your page
From your dashboard, open Edit your profile to set:
- Display name: the name supporters see on your page.
- Profile photo: a photo of you or your team. If you do not add one, your team's photo is used.
- Fundraising goal: your personal target. Your organiser may set a starting goal, and you can change it.
- Why I'm fundraising: a short message (up to 500 characters) telling supporters what you are raising money for. A personal reason helps people give.
Your stats
Your dashboard shows how much you have raised, your goal, and your rank on the leaderboard. You can also see the orders credited to you under Recent orders.
Sharing your page
The Share your page section gives you three ways to spread the word:
- Link: copy your personal link and send it by text, email, or social media. Anyone who buys or donates from your link is credited to you automatically.
- QR code: download your QR code as an image. It is handy for posters, flyers, or showing on your phone in person. People scan it to go straight to your page.
- Poster: download a ready-made poster as a PDF, print it, and put it up around your community.
Tips for raising more
- Add a photo and a personal reason before you share. Pages with both do better.
- Share your link early, then again partway through, and once more near the end.
- Ask people directly. Supporters give more when someone they know asks them.
- Use your QR code in person, at events, the school gate, or the sideline.
A note on onboarding emails
If your organiser has turned on onboarding emails, you will get a few short reminders through the campaign to help you set a goal, share your page, and finish strong. You can act on them straight from your dashboard.
