Back Your Player – Polynesian Cup Tahiti 2026

Meitaki Maata for backing our players and supporting our teams! 🏀🇨🇰

After a busy week in Tahiti and some terrible Wi-Fi connections, we're finally able to share an update!

We're now heading into the final two days of competition, and we truly could not have made it this far without your incredible support.

It's been quite a journey! From a successful training camp in Rarotonga, to a cyclone delaying our flight, and a few injuries along the way, both our Men's and Women's teams are now playing off for third place at the 2026 Polynesian Cup!

Our Cook Islands Women's team will face Tahiti on Saturday, while our Men's team will take on Samoa.

This tournament has been a huge learning experience for both players and management. We are incredibly proud of the athletes representing our Cook Islands, their resilience, commitment and the pride they've shown wearing our national colours.

Today is the final official day of our fundraising campaign!

If you'd still like to contribute, you can donate to the Team Fund by selecting it from the drop-down menu, or continue backing an individual player by selecting their name.

To everyone who has donated, sponsored, shared our campaign or supported our players along the way — Meitaki Maata! Your generosity has helped make this journey possible.

🇨🇰 Cook Islands proud! 🏀💚
