Barker's of Geraldine – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all organisations (“the Organiser”) running a Barker's of Geraldine fundraiser. By setting up or taking part in a fundraiser, you agree to the following terms.
How the Fundraiser Works
1.1 The Organiser is responsible for promoting the fundraiser, collecting orders, and making sure all customer details are correct before submission.
1.2 Product pricing, available items, and profit margins are confirmed on the Barker's of Geraldine fundraiser website and may be updated from time to time.
1.3 Once a fundraiser has closed and orders are submitted, changes cannot be made unless agreed to by Barker's of Geraldine.
Payment
2.1 Once your fundraiser has closed and orders are finalised, Barker's of Geraldine will issue an invoice to the Organiser.
2.2 Payment is required within 5 days of the invoice date.
2.3 Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full.
2.4 If payment is not received within the required timeframe, Barker's of Geraldine may delay processing or cancel the order.
Delivery & Freight
3.1 Bulk orders over $900 qualify for free delivery.
3.2 Orders under $900 will incur a freight charge of $100.
3.3 All deliveries must be made to a valid business address (residential addresses are not accepted).
3.4 While Barker's of Geraldine will always provide an estimated delivery date, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
3.5 The Organiser is responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.
Order Checks & Issues
4.1 Please check all items as soon as they are delivered or collected. Any missing, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported to Barker's of Geraldine within 24 hours.
4.2 Claims received after this timeframe may not be approved.
Refunds
5.1 Refunds are only provided where products are faulty or not supplied as agreed.
5.2 Refunds are issued to the Organiser, who is responsible for passing them on to individual buyers if required.
Privacy & Information Use
6.1 The Organiser agrees to collect customer information responsibly and in line with New Zealand privacy laws.
6.2 Barker's of Geraldine will only use personal information to process and deliver fundraiser orders.
6.3 Barker's of Geraldine does not sell or share customer information with third parties.
Liability
7.1 Barker's of Geraldine is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, weather, depot operations, or other factors outside its control.
7.2 Barker's of Geraldine is not responsible for any funds the Organiser is unable to collect from buyers.
7.3 Once products are handed over, Barker's of Geraldine is not responsible for mishandling or spoilage.
Agreement
By creating a Barker's of Geraldine fundraiser, the Organiser confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
