Healing for Falasteen

In honor of the 3 year anniversary of 7 October and the beginning of the second Nakba, we are coming together for Healing for Falasteen.  Healers of all kinds have donated their time, practice, and products toward a day of healing for ourselves and for Palestine (Gaza/West Bank).

With the help of folks like you, we will bring together a wide variety of healing modalities and spiritual practices to offer on the day for a fixed price of $20/20 min.  Crafters of a variety have donated their products for an online auction.  For those unable to attend on the day or have a practice that is not appropriate for a shared space, practitioners have donated sessions for booking at a later date.  Opportunity to purchase tickets to be gifted to lower-income community members will also be available!

Your gifts will go to three beneficiaries in Palestine. First is a whānau in the south of Gaza — Ibraheem Saber, a Uni graduate of Economics, his parents, sister and nephew for whom Ibraheem is the sole provider.  Second is the Bethlehem Institute for Peace and Justice whose mission is to pursue justice and solidarity with the marginalized worldwide. Thirdly, the Jewish and Arab Palestinian community of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam which was formed in 1972 as a response to violence and apartheid in their homeland. Their efforts for reconciliation and education initiatives in the West Bank works toward raising up the next generation of peacemakers.
