Emily Ruth's School Soccer AIMS Fundraiser!!!

Hey Family and Friends!! Emily and her parents have put this fundraising page together to help raise funds for her HUGE upcoming football opportunity in which she tried out for and was invited to be THE goalkeeper for the year 8 soccer team in the AIMS competition. For those in the US who may not be familiar, the New Zealand AIMS Games is a huge achievement for intermediate-aged athletes. It is one of the largest junior sporting events in Australasia, bringing together more than 14,000 Year 7 and Year 8 athletes from over 400 schools across New Zealand and the Pacific.

The Games are held over one week in Tauranga, with students competing across 27 different sports. Being selected as the Year 8 goalkeeper to represent her school means she has earned the opportunity to compete against some of the best players her age from around the country. It is a special milestone and a huge honour for a young athlete. Ems is SUPER pumped and excited and incredibly excited to live in the New Zealand "olympic village" for AIMS athletes for a week and compete. Any help to cover the cost of the tournament and housing would be super greatly appreciated. Emily is also selling chocolate bars at $2/bar and has sold her first box already in two days.
